Our Chartered Physiotherapists are expert in the examination of movement, posture and identification of any dysfunction in these areas. This expertise is informed by in depth knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and physiology.
Treatment is by mobilisation or manipulation of joints, nerves and muscles, and guidance on posture and exercise. Muscles, joints, nerves and ligaments all work together to make a healthy body, but the balance can be upset by injury or overuse or sustaining the wrong posture. Core skills used by chartered physiotherapists include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and the application of electro physical modalities.
Our Physiotherapist will complete a thorough assessment that may include your health history, evaluation of pain and movement patterns, strength, and joint range of motion, reflexes, sensation and cardio respiratory status. After assessment they will proceed with necessary treatment.
As well as referring yourself privately to the clinic, our Physiotherapists are BUPA registered and can be GP referred.
